Muriel Rukeyser: A Living Archive, a project at Eastern Michigan University, is hosting four staged readings of Muriel Rukeyser’s play Houdini, thanks to generous grant support from the Michigan Humanities Council. The first reading will be followed by an informal conversation with Stefania Heim; Jan Freeman; the director, EMU Theater Professor Lee Stille; EMU student actors; and the audience; and preceded by two formal talks about Houdini at 11 am. This event will be live streamed.
