Presenter Book at 2025 Kachemak Bay Writers’ Conference: Museum of Unnatural Histories

Kachemak Bay Campus 533 E Pioneer Ave Homer, AK 99603

We are excited to announce the upcoming dates for the Kachemak Bay Writers’ Conference at the stunning Kachemak Bay Campus in downtown Homer, Alaska!

This writers’ workshop will be held from May 17-20, 2025. These four days will be packed with craft classes, agent and editor meetings, panel discussions, and readings by the participants and the faculty.

The annual Kachemak Bay Writers’ Conference provides a wonderful opportunity for writers to substantially strengthen their skills while working in a collaborative and welcoming environment.

In 2025, poet Annie Wenstrup will be joined by other faculty members for the event, including poets Geffrey Davis and Peggy Shumaker, as well as keynote presenter Tommy Orange. Annie Wenstrup’s newest book, The Museum of Unnatural Histories, will be presented, which interprets personal historical events within the space of an imagined museum.
