Sam Sax is a queer Jewish writer and educator currently living in Brooklyn. He's the author of two poetry collections Madness, bury it and editor of Bat City Review. His work has been anthologized in Houghton Mifflin's The Best American Nonrequired Reading of 2016, and Meridian's Best New Poets 2015 and has appeared in Tin House, Poetry, American Poetry Review, Boston Review, Prairie Schooner and the Kenyon Review. He is a two-time Bay Area Grand Slam Champion (2012,2013).
